School Administrator job | Temporary 4 days a week

Are you an experienced School Administrator looking for your next opportunity? I am working with a school in Melton Mowbray who are seeking a confident, organised Administrator to join their team on a part-time basis. This role offers an immediate start.

YOUR ROLE WILL INCLUDE:
  • As a key member of the school’s front-office team, you’ll keep the day running smoothly by:
  • Welcoming visitors and managing sign‑in procedures in line with safeguarding.
  • Handling calls, emails, and general enquiries professionally.
  • Updating pupil and staff records, including attendance, using systems such as SIMS/Arbor and Microsoft Office.
  • Supporting daily admin tasks such as filing, organising resources, and ordering stationery.
  • Providing reprographics support including printing and photocopying.
  • Ensuring all work follows safeguarding, GDPR, and confidentiality procedures.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
  • Previous school‑based experience in a similar role
  • An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Systems: BromCom
  • A proactive, professional attitude with clear communication skills
  • A calm, reliable approach and the ability to multitask confidently
