School Administrator required 2 days per week.
My Kings Lynn based client is looking for a proactive and highly organised Administrator to join their team on a PART-TIME, temporary basis (initially) to help ensure the smooth running of day-to-day operations at one of their SEMH schools. This is a key role supporting staff, pupils, and parents with a varied range of administrative duties.
Key Role Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for visitors and callers.
- Manage the school diary, post, and email enquiries.
- Maintain accurate pupil and staff records using Bromcom.
- Support teachers with class registration and absence reporting.
- Handle payments, petty cash, and financial records.
- Provide admin support for Annual Reviews and meetings.
- Coordinate school lunch orders and free school meal records.
- Submit Census and payroll data to Business Support.
- Update pupil roll and staff sickness records.
- Assist with Return to Work paperwork and requisitions.
- Monitor and distribute school orders and supplies.
- Act as a named First Aider and GDPR Champion.
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience in school administration or similar.
- Strong IT skills (Bromcom experience is a plus).
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Willingness to undertake training and First Aid certification.
- Knowledge of GDPR and data protection practices.
