School Administrator- Leicester

Your new school

Hours: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday
Contract: Term-time only
Start: Temporary with the opportunity to go permanent

Your new role

As the face of the school office, you will be at the heart of daily operations. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a range of general administrative tasks to keep the office running seamlessly
  • Overseeing student registers and coordinating daily lunch orders
  • Handling incoming calls and communicating with parents in a friendly, professional manner
  • Greeting visitors and ensuring they receive a warm, helpful welcome
  • Drafting and preparing letters, including occasional sensitive correspondence such as exclusion letters
  • Supporting staff with ad‑hoc administrative needs and contributing to a positive, organised office environment

This is a role where your attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to stay calm under pressure will truly shine.


What you'll need to succeed

We’re looking for someone who brings:

  • Previous experience in a school office — essential for hitting the ground running
  • Strong administrative experience and confidence managing multiple tasks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
