We’re working with a leading regional main contractor that has built a strong reputation across Hampshire & Berkshire for delivering high-quality projects in both public and private sectors. With decades of experience, this contractor is known for its ability to manage complex schemes with precision and professionalism, consistently meeting client expectations for safety, quality, and timely delivery.
The business operates across a diverse portfolio, including:
- Education – schools, colleges, and specialist facilities
- Healthcare – hospitals and community health projects
- Commercial & Industrial – offices, manufacturing
This latest opportunity involves a £5m+ commercial/industrial project in Berkshire, combining demolition and new-build construction. This scheme will require a Project Manager who can lead from pre-construction through to successful completion.

The Role
As Project Manager, you will:
- Take ownership of the full project lifecycle, from early planning and procurement to on-site delivery.
- Lead site teams and manage subcontractors to ensure performance, safety, and quality standards.
- Maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships throughout the project.
- Oversee budgets and ensure commercial targets are met.
Ideal Candidate
- Proven experience delivering refurbishment and new-build schemes for Tier One or large regional contractors.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Relevant certifications: SMSTS, CSCS (Black Card), First Aid, and ideally security clearance or eligibility.
- Commercial awareness and ability to manage budgets on projects of similar scale (£3m–£5m+).
