Social Care Team Manager required for Short-Term Service in Sandwell
Your new company
This is a busy service run by Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council and provides at home and community support for individuals who are in need of short-term support, mostly following release from hospital. The service is a regulated service with CQC, so the successful candidate will be required to become a Registered Manager in order to deliver this function.
Your new role
The role is a long-term contract at 37 hours a week and will be Monday to Friday. Uniquely to this role, you will not be required to carry out any on-call duties as there will be a team who will support with this.The post holder will also work alongside other managers from both Health and Social Care as part of the D2A system.
What you'll need to succeed
- Minimum 3 years' post-qualification practice and experience, working in social care, particularly those with previous registered manager/CQC experience.
- Minimum 2 years' experience of managing a substantial budget and experience of supervision of professional and/or non-professional staff.
- Experience of partnership working.
- Experience of working to improve performance.
- Professional qualification at degree level and/or NVQ 4 or equivalent.
