Sales Administrator | Chorley | Permanent – Full Time | 23 Days Holiday + BH | £28,000+ DOE

A well-established business specialising in consumables is seeking a talented Sales Administrator to join the team on a permanent, full-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented individual with a passion for delivering excellent customer service and supporting sales operations. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, confident in managing multiple tasks, and enthusiastic about contributing to the success of a purpose-led organisation. If you enjoy working collaboratively, solving problems, and making a meaningful impact through efficient sales support, this role could be a perfect fit.

Working hours are Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm with hybrid working days.

Key Responsibilities
As Sales Administrator your duties will include but are not limited to:
  • Process sales orders accurately and efficiently
  • Liaise with customers, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure timely delivery and resolution of queries
  • Maintain and update customer records and order tracking systems
  • Support the BDM and sales team with quotes, reports, and general administrative tasks
  • Assist with stock ordering and inventory coordination
  • Prepare job sheets and liaise with the design/CAD team on product specifications
  • Coordinate with dispatch and logistics to ensure smooth order fulfilment
  • Support accounts with invoice approvals and basic financial admin
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of sales processes and customer experience

What You Need to Succeed:
To be successful in this position you should have:
  • Previous experience in a sales admin or customer service role
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Confident using Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise in a busy environment
  • A team player with a proactive and positive attitude
