Your new company

Hays are partnering with a local family-run business in East Hull to appoint a Sales Administrator to their busy team. This role plays a pivotal part in maintaining excellent service to their existing client base with the opportunity to develop new business through a proactive approach. This company truly values its staff and has a strong track record of promoting from within, giving excellent career progression routes.
This role is fully office-based, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.
Anticipated start date is end of August/early September.


Your new role

Do you enjoy delivering excellent customer service and being a key point of contact for your clients? Do you have experience of sales order processing on SAGE? Are you confident in speaking to customers on the phone, building and strengthening relationships? If so, this could be the role for you.
Your role will be varied and encompass duties such as:
  • Sales order processing
  • Customer service
  • Account management
  • Liaison across departments to ensure timely delivery of customer orders

What you'll need to succeed

Previous experience of working in a sales administrator/customer service/sales order processing role is desired but candidates showing the right potential will be considered. Key skills include:
  • Excellent attention to detail and data entry skills
  • A positive and professional demeanour
  • A collaborative approach
  • Ability to develop and strengthen customer relationships and identify new business opportunities
  • Ability to manage workload and changing priorities

What you'll get in return
