Opportunity for an experienced Planned Maintenance Surveyor to support a major roofing and solar panel installation programme across a Local Authority's housing stock. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys being out on site, engaging with residents, and ensuring high-quality, future-proofed property improvements.

Your new role

As the temporary Planned Maintenance Surveyor, you'll play a key part in delivering planned works projects, focusing on roofing upgrades and installation of solar PV systems. Your work will help improve energy efficiency, reduce long-term maintenance costs and enhance the condition of homes. As part of the role, you will carry out detailed property surveys and prepare specifications, schedules of work and technical reports. You will monitor contractor performance and ensure project compliance and timeline delivery.

This is a six month temporary contract to start asap.

What you'll need to succeed

In order to be successful for this role, you will be an experienced Planned Maintenance Surveyor and should have experience delivering roofing upgrade projects. Prior experience of solar PV projects is beneficial, but not essential. You should have strong understanding of building pathology and construction methods and be comfortable communicating with residents. A driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes is required for this role.

What you'll get in return

This role is offered with hybrid working whereby you will be expected to travel between properties four days per week and can opt to work from home one day per week.
