Salary: £27K+ per annum + pension & benefits
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent Hours: 37 hours per week (Monday–Thursday 08:00am - 16:00pm / Friday 08:00am - 15:30pm)

About the Role
As a Roofer, you’ll be responsible for:
To undertake all roofing work associated with the maintenance and refurbishment of Housing Executive stock / buildings, including and not limited to:
- Removing old roof coverings and replacing them with all styles of roof
- Repairing and replacing lead work to roofs
- Renewing or rebedding hip and roof tiles
- Renewing or rebedding chimney pots
- Repairing mineral felt and asphalt flat roof covering
- Correctly replacing slates or tiles in isolated patches
- Surveying and correctly identifying faults in pitched and flat roofs
- Replacing/repairing/cleaning guttering and fascia as necessary
- Carrying out repairs and maintenance on a variety of roof types (pitched, flat, tiled, slate, felt)
- Responding to emergency call-outs for roof leaks and storm damage
- Installing new roofing materials and components as part of planned works
- Ensuring all work meets health & safety and building regulation standards
- Working across public buildings such as schools, libraries, offices, and community centres
What We’re Looking For
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Roofing Occupations (or relevant experience)
- Proven track record in roof maintenance and repair
- Ability to work at height and use access equipment safely
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Full UK driving licence (vehicle provided for work use)
- CSR card desirable
- Basic Access NI
