Site Manager - Sub Station Renewal - Coventry
The Opportunity
Hays are recruiting a Site Manager to support substation renewal works on a major regional framework. This role involves overseeing multiple sites within the Coventry area and ensuring safe, efficient, and high‑quality delivery of all operational activities.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop Health & Safety Plans, Method Statements, and Risk Assessments in line with current SHEQ legislation
- Liaise with clients, deliver progress meetings, and support audits
- Supervise and motivate site staff and subcontractors to maintain safe, responsible working practices
- Ensure all tasks are delivered to agreed timeframes and quality standards
- Manage day‑to‑day operations with a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and teamwork
- Operate across multiple sites within the NGED framework
- NGED OPS 2B
- Previous experience on power, utilities, or substation projects
- Experience operating at Site Manager level.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
