Hays are looking for an experienced Independent Non-Medical Prescriber (Substance Misuse) to work in Thetford.
Working hours: 30hrs/week (9am to 5pm, 4 days per week between Monday-Friday)
Contract dates – asap for at least 2 months (will be reviewed)
Pay rate £52 - £58 (no limited companies’ workers will be accepted)
Location: Thetford, NorfolkIn your role you will:
Initiate prescribing of and/or make amendments to prescriptions of opiate and/or alcohol substitute treatments and other related medications.
Take a lead role in developing the prescribing clinic, acting as a point of contact for other workers and partner agencies around prescribing issues.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
Current NMC registration
Previous post registration experience as NMP (in substance misuse)
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
