Are you a commercially minded Management Accountant looking to step into a dynamic, fast-paced retail environment? Their London-based finance team is expanding, and they’re now seeking a talented Management Accountant to join at an exciting time of growth. **YOU MUST BE AVAILABLE TO START AT MAX 1-MONTH NOTICE**
Your new role
You’ll play a key role in delivering insightful financial analysis and management reporting. You’ll be responsible for:
- Preparing monthly management accounts and variance analysis
- Ownership of month-end duties
- Business partnering with commercial teams to support decision-making
- Ownership of budgeting and forecasting across multiple cost centres
- Supporting strategic initiatives and process improvements
- Identifying opportunities & risks, presenting these to stakeholders
What you'll need to succeed
- Short notice (max 1 month) is a must
- ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified
- Previous experience with leading the budgeting / forecasting (even if for a small part of the P&L or a project)
- Advantages if you have any retail, FMCG or consumer experience
- Strong communication skills with stakeholders, ability to be a business partner
- Strong management accounting & month-end experience
