MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT (COMMERCIAL DUTIES!) - RETAIL/FOOD WHOLESALE - £55k + BENEFITS

I am supporting a prominent wholesale food retailer, regarded for their high quality, who is seeking a Management Accountant to expand their finance team! This role offers an exciting blend of management accounting, financial reporting and commercial/FP&A duties such as budgeting & forecasting and supporting business decisions. You'll play a large role in assisting with the company's growth and success. This role offers significant growth potential!Your new role
Reporting to the FC, you will be responsible for:
- Producing monthly management account packs
- Managing and reconciling the Profit and Loss (P&L), Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements
- Cash flow management
- Provide analysis, insight and informative reporting to support and influence business decisions
- Cost analysis, monitoring COGs & stock
- Assisting with the budgeting and forecasting
- Coordinate year-end audit requests and assist to prepare statutory accounts
- VAT
- Systems improvement
- Ad hoc finance projects and analysis
What you’ll need to succeed
In order to succeed, you will be a Qualified Finance Professional (or finalist or QBE!) with experience within a Food / Retail environment - with stock experience. What you’ll get in return
