Your new role
You will be working as an Architectural Assistant completing daily tasks such as:
- Utilise industry-standard software packages such as AutoCAD, Revit, or Sketchup to generate detailed plans and drawings that accurately reflect design intent and meet project specifications.
- Conduct thorough site surveys and assessments to gather essential data for project planning, identifying site-specific constraints and opportunities.
- Collate and organise technical data and documentation to support project planning, implementation, and decision-making processes.
- Evaluate design plans to identify potential risks and propose mitigating strategies to ensure safety and compliance with regulatory standards.
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Architectural Technology or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience with a focus on retail projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant software applications.
- Strong knowledge of building materials, construction methods, and detailing.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
