Housing Assistant Glasgow East End Temporary

Your new company

This social housing provider is a reputable housing association based in Glasgow, committed to providing quality housing solutions and is seeking a temporary housing assistant for an initial 3-month period, with scope to go permanent.
With a friendly and collaborative team environment, you will be welcomed and supported as you play a key part in delivering for your tenants within the Housing Management Team.

Your new role

  • Support delivery of high-quality housing services across allocations, tenancy, rents, repairs, factoring, and estate management
  • Promote customer satisfaction and continuous improvement through team collaboration and performance monitoring
  • Ensure tenancy compliance and contractor access for essential services
  • Provide rehousing advice and support, resolve customer issues, and liaise with partner agencies
  • Assist in maintaining clean, safe, and vibrant communities
  • Contribute to estate management, voids and lettings, anti-social behaviour cases, and arrears recovery
  • Attend community meetings and support governance activities
  • Ensure compliance with housing legislation, policies, and ethical standards
  • Work flexibly across teams to support front-line service delivery

What you'll need to succeed

  • Demonstrate the values, behaviours and competencies aligned with excellent housing service delivery

  • Proven experience in a housing role or similar, supporting customers with complex needs

  • Strong background in Allocations, Rents, Tenancy, Repairs, Factoring, and Estate Management

  • Solid understanding of current housing legislation, policy, and health & safety practices

  • Skilled in working collaboratively with external partners and agencies
