Housing Officer Temporary Glasgow Housing Association

We are currently working with a well-established Housing Association to recruit an experienced Housing Officer on a short-term basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy housing team and provide essential support during a transitional period.
Your new role
- Manage a designated patch of housing stock, delivering a high-quality tenancy management service
- Handle a varied caseload including rent arrears, tenancy sustainment, and anti-social behaviour (ASB)
- Conduct tenancy visits, estate inspections, and home visits, ensuring properties and communities are well maintained
- Provide advice and support to tenants, including signposting to relevant services where required
- Take appropriate action on tenancy breaches in line with policy and legislation
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to deliver effective housing services
- Maintain accurate records and update housing management systems
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience working in a Housing Officer role within a housing association or local authority
- Strong understanding of Scottish housing legislation and tenancy management
- Proven ability to manage rent arrears and ASB cases effectively
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to hit the ground running and manage a busy caseload
