Job Title: Residential Childcare Support Worker
Location: London

Overview:Join a dedicated team at a 5-bed residential home supporting young people aged 11-17 with Emotional and Behavioral Difficulties (EBD). We provide a safe environment for mixed-gender youth, focusing on education, community engagement, and personal development.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Support young people in managing their emotions and behaviors.
  • Assist in accessing education and engaging in community activities.
  • Foster positive relationships and promote safe behaviors.
  • Implement safeguarding protocols, especially during missing episodes.
  • Create a fun, engaging atmosphere while setting clear behavioral expectations.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in residential care for young people with challenging behavior.
  • Physical and mental resilience to handle the demands of the role.
  • Availability for full-time work (average 39 hours/week), including weekends and holidays.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or willingness to pursue).
