Part-Time Afterschool Playworker Wanted in the Wirral, Immediate Start
Location: Wirral
Salary: £4,659 per annum (15 Per Hour)
Working Pattern: Part-Time, Term-Time
Hours: 8 hours per week (Monday–Thursday, 3:15 pm – 5:15 pm)
Contract: Fixed Term until 31/08/2026
Start Date: As soon as possible DBS Check: Enhanced

Your new company

The Governors are looking for an enthusiastic Play Worker to join our dedicated Afterschool Club, The B Hive, where you’ll help create a safe, happy, and healthy space for pupils after school.
Your new role
As a Play Worker, you’ll assist with supervising pupils during the Afterschool Club, providing refreshments, and supporting activities that make club time enjoyable and engaging. You’ll work closely with the team to ensure children feel safe and cared for in a positive environment.
What you'll need to succeed
To thrive in this role, you’ll need to be enthusiastic, reliable, and motivated, with a genuine passion for working with children. Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team are essential. Previous experience in a similar setting is desirable but not essential.
