Senior Licensed Ecologist - Permanent Job - Remote, desk-based - £40,000 - £55,000 DOE
Your new company
An environmental and design consultancy that operates across the UK out of Suffolk, giving their staff excellent flexibility to work remotely UK-wide. They offer a range of services, such as Ecology, BNG, Arboriculture, Landscape planning / design and vegetation management. Their typical clients are in the residential sector (single dwellings and large developments).
Your new role
They have an operational Ecology team surveying across the UK. You will work remotely to help support this team from a technical perspective, your main duties will include…
- Technical report writing for EcIA, PRA, PEA, HRA etc.
- Mentoring junior colleagues via Teams
- Fee quoting
- Ecological 1st and 2nd tier checking
What you'll need to succeed
- A degree in Ecology or a related subject
- Level 1 or 2 bat licence holder
- Proven experience writing technical ecology reports
- Good project management / coordination experience
- Experience mentoring junior ecologists (desirable)
What you'll get in return
- £40,000 - £55,000 per annum
