Children's Registered Manager Needed - Croydon and Norwood
Job Title: Children’s Registered Manager
Location: South London
Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Children’s Registered Manager for a new residential home catering to young people aged 8-17 with social, emotional, and mental health challenges. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a 6 bedded home and make a significant impact on the lives of young people.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the registration process with Ofsted and ensure compliance with all regulations.
- Manage daily operations and provide exceptional care and support.
- Lead and supervise a dedicated team, fostering a positive environment.
- Develop and implement high-quality care plans and risk assessments.
- Collaborate with the leadership team on recruitment, policies, and procedures.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar environment with successful Ofsted ratings.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or commitment to achieve).
- Full UK driving licence is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
- Passionate about making a positive difference in young people’s lives.
