Facilities Manager Brighton
Temporary Facilities Manager – Central Brighton (8-Week Contract) Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm | Immediate Start 8-Week Contract Client: Leading UK Facilities Management Company
We’re seeking a skilled Facilities Manager with outstanding customer service and technical expertise to oversee daily operations at a prestigious library in the heart of Brighton. You’ll be responsible for contractor supervision, building performance, and ensuring an exceptional experience for service users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate all facilities activities, including planned and reactive maintenance
- Oversee contractors and service partners to ensure seamless site operations
- Quickly resolve building-related issues using technical knowledge
- Engage confidently with library stakeholders and visitors
- Uphold safety, compliance, and environmental standards
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in facilities management, preferably within public or heritage buildings
- Strong technical understanding of modern systems (e.g. HVAC, BMS, security)
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Confident contractor management and multitasking under pressure
- Enhanced DBS required (must be registered on the Update Service or issued within the last 3 months)
- Immediate availability for full contract duration
