School Administrator Job Available at Primary School in Bolton
Are you an organised, proactive, and professional administrator looking to make a real difference in a school community? A Primary School in Bolton is looking for a Business Support Officer to join their dedicated team and help drive excellence in education within a caring and respectful Islamic environment on a temporary basis. As a Business Support Officer, you’ll play a key role in the smooth running of the school’s administrative and business functions. From managing pupil records and supporting school events to providing a warm and professional reception service, your work will help create a welcoming and efficient environment for students, staff, and visitors alike.
Location: Bolton
Hours: Full-time
Contract Type: Temporary (Approx. 4 weeks)
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality administrative and clerical support across the school.
- Provide minutes for staff and SLT meetings
- Maintain accurate pupil records and support safeguarding processes.
- Deliver a professional reception service, handling queries from parents, staff, and visitors.
- Assist with organising school trips, events, and reprographics
- Support the administration of health and safety and estate management tasks.
Key Skills/Experience:
- Experience in an administrative role, ideally within a school setting
- Experience in the use of school MIS - SIMS, Bromcom, Arbor
- Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
