Your new role
As an HR Advisor, you will be responsible for:- Manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding for site and office roles
- Handle employee relations including disciplinary, grievance, and welfare matters
- Support training and development initiatives including apprenticeships and graduate schemes
- Coordinate performance reviews and identify skills development opportunities
- Manage employee lifecycle events – promotions, transfers, and leavers
- Maintain accurate HR records and ensure GDPR compliance
- Advise managers and staff on HR policies and employment legislation
- Contribute to policy development and deliver HR training to line managers
- Monitor labour market trends to support workforce planning and retention
- Promote employee engagement and support company-wide initiatives
What you'll need to succeed
- A minimum of 3 years experience in a generalist HR role.
- Experience in recruitment and selection at all levels, employee relations issues and training and development activities and initiatives.
- A sound knowledge of current employment legislation and HR best practice.
- A professional and organised approach to work.
- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Full awareness of the need for integrity and confidentiality in HR activities
- A good problem-solver with the ability to identify issues and resolve them in a timely manner.
- A proactive and flexible approach to work with the ability to work with changing demands and priorities.
- Strong IT skills, including experience of HR systems.
- Commitment to undertaking travel as required to fulfil the responsibilities of the role.
