The HR & Corporate Services department plays a pivotal role in enabling operational excellence and strategic development.
Your new role
As a Human Resources & Corporate Services Officer (Band 5), you’ll be part of a small, high-performing team delivering a wide range of HR and corporate services. Your responsibilities will span across:
Providing professional HR advice on employee relations, recruitment, absence management, and equality matters.
Supporting and coordinating people and culture initiatives, including Investors in People.
Managing HR systems and data, including reporting and analysis.
Coordinating training and development activities.
Supporting corporate services functions such as internal communications, staff engagement, and compliance reporting.
What you'll need to succeed
A university degree or recognised professional qualification plus at least one year’s experience in a Human Resources department;
OR
At least three years’ relevant HR experience, including one year at Band 3 level or equivalent.Experience advising managers on a range of HR issues.
Strong working knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience producing statistical reports.
A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (reasonable adjustments will be made where applicable).
Desirable:
Experience using HR/payroll systems.
CIPD qualification or membership.
