Hays are delighted to be partnering with a well-established not-for-profit organisation to recruit an HR Recruitment Executive. Your new role

As HR Recruitment Executive, you will play a key role in supporting the end-to-end recruitment process and ensuring a positive candidate experience. Working within a busy HR team, you will provide recruitment administration support while helping to coordinate recruitment campaigns, onboarding activities, recruitment events, and reporting processes.

Key responsibilities will include:
  • Coordinating recruitment campaigns from advertisement through to onboarding.
  • Advertising vacancies and managing candidate communications.
  • Liaising with hiring managers and providing recruitment guidance.
  • Maintaining applicant tracking systems and HR information systems.
  • Organising interviews, recruitment open days, and career fairs.
  • Assisting with vetting and pre-employment checking processes.
  • Preparing offer letters and contractual documentation.
  • Producing recruitment reports and management information.
  • Supporting employee engagement, wellbeing, and retention initiatives.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement projects and HR best practice.
This is a fast-paced position that requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

What you'll need to succeed

To be considered for this role, you will have:
  • A minimum of 12 months' administration experience within a recruitment or HR environment.
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems, online recruitment platforms, or HR information systems.
  • Strong IT skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A full driving licence and access to transport, or the ability to meet the travel requirements of the role through alternative arrangements.
Experience supporting recruitment activities, coordinating interviews, maintaining accurate records, and working within a busy administrative environment will be highly advantageous.
