School Receptionist | Horsham | £23,000 - £25,000 per annum | Full-Time | Permanent
This school is seeking a friendly and organised School Receptionist to join their team. As a receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, parents, and students, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:
Front-of-House
  1. Manage the school reception area, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment.
  2. Greet visitors, parents, and students, providing assistance and direction.
  3. Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and manage correspondence.
Administration
  1. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including student and staff information.
  2. Manage school databases, filing systems, and other administrative tasks.
  3. Prepare and distribute reports, newsletters, and other materials.
Communication
  1. Liaise with parents, staff, and external agencies, providing information and support.
  2. Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  3. Develop and maintain positive relationships with the school community.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a reception or administrative role, preferably in a school or educational setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other administrative software and systems such as SIMS.
  • Friendly and approachable demeanour.
