Reception Teacher – Preston - September Start

Your new role

You will take full responsibility for a Reception class, delivering engaging and creative lessons aligned with the EYFS framework. The successful candidate will create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment where every child can thrive.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Planning and delivering high-quality lessons in line with the EYFS curriculum
  • Supporting children’s social, emotional, and academic development
  • Assessing, tracking, and reporting on pupil progress
  • Building strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
  • Contributing positively to the wider school community

What you'll need to succeed

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching in Early Years (Reception preferred)
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
  • Passion for early childhood education
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • A proactive and flexible approach to teaching
