1:1 Teaching Assistant - Reception (Hall Green)

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding long-term role in a vibrant and inclusive school? A school in the Hall Green area is seeking a dedicated Reception Teaching Assistant to join their team and make a lasting impact.

This school is a highly regarded community school for children aged 3 to 11, located in Hall Green, Birmingham. The Role
This is a part-time role for two days per week (Monday & Tuesday), starting in January for the first term.
  • Dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a child with autism.
  • Non-verbal and not toilet trained (personal care required)
  • Supporting learning and communication
  • Creating an inclusive and positive environment
What You’ll Need to Succeed
  • Experience working with children with additional needs (preferably autism)
  • Relevant qualifications such as Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent
  • A caring, patient and adaptable approach
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and support staff
