A warm and welcoming primary school in Stroud is seeking a dedicated Reception Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team on a full‑time basis from 13th April . This is a great opportunity for someone who loves supporting young learners and thrives in a nurturing, play‑based environment.

The Role

• Full‑time Reception (EYFS) Teaching Assistant
• Supporting children with early learning, play and classroom routines
• Assisting with phonics, early literacy and numeracy activities
• Providing 1:1 and small‑group support where needed
• Helping to create a positive, engaging, child‑centred learning environment
• Working closely with the class teacher and wider EYFS team

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has experience supporting children in Early Years (EYFS experience desirable)
• Is warm, patient and enthusiastic about early childhood development
• Can follow routines while also showing initiative
• Works well as part of a collaborative team
• Is committed to helping young learners thrive socially and academically
