Teacher of Religious Education (RE)
Salary: MPS/UPS, dependent on experience (+ potential TLR)
Location: Medway, Kent
Start Date: September 2025 Contract: Permanent

The Role
As a Teacher of RE :
• Deliver engaging and thought-provoking lessons that inspire students.
• Monitor and support student progress, ensuring high achievement.
• Contribute to the school’s rich academic and pastoral ethos.
• Play an active role in departmental development and curriculum enhancement.
• Set and assess homework in line with school policies to extend learning beyond the classroom.
• Maintain high standards of professionalism, acting as a role model for students.

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Religious Studies (or related field).
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching certification.
• Experience teaching secondary-level Religious Education.
• Strong knowledge of subject-specific theories, tools, and technologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering a positive learning environment.
