Your new role


My client is looking for an experienced Environmental Manager to lead the team on the 'Lower Thames Crossing' Project in Essex. This is the most ambitious infrastructure project in the UK in terms of scale and breadth of sustainability practices.

Working under the Lead Environmental Sustainability Manager, you will support on the following...

  • Ensure that environmental management is being adhered to on this large infrastructure project
  • Identify and evaluate environmental risks and appropriate remediation
  • Manage external subcontractors, environmental consultants and suppliers to ensure project delivery
  • Client liaising and negotiation


What you'll need to succeed


  • Extensive experience as an Environmental Manager on complex infrastructure projects
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of relevant UK environmental legislation and infrastructure contractural requirements
  • Confident to be an advocate for this organisation
