Your new role
As a Manufacturing Systems Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting production efficiency and system accuracy. You’ll manage and maintain the Engineering Change Order (ECO) process, working closely with supply chain, engineering, and production teams. Your responsibilities will include implementing best practices for inventory and Bill of Materials (BOM) data, supporting lean manufacturing initiatives such as Kanban and 5S, and ensuring the smooth operation of manufacturing systems. You’ll also be involved in material planning, make/buy decisions, and coordinating internal and external customer orders.
What you'll need to succeed
To thrive in this role, you’ll need strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and a proactive, analytical mindset. You should be confident working with IT systems and have a solid understanding of manufacturing processes, material management, and lean principles. Experience with ERP systems and a background in engineering or industrial environments will be advantageous. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines are essential.
