Quality Executive | Wakefield | Compliance | Maternity Cover

Quality Administrator
Maternity Cover – 9 Months FTC
Based in Wakefield on a hybrid basis

Hays are working exclusively with a non-for-profit to recruit a Quality Administrator on a 9-month FTC basis based in Wakefield. For this role, you will play a key role in managing customer relationships and ensuring the integrity of qualifications and services. The role supports risk management and quality assurance activities across centres, contributing to continuous improvement and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage customer onboarding, queries, and quality assurance support.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to qualifications, products, and services.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to support customer retention and growth.
  • Maintain data integrity and escalate malpractice issues.
  • Support offshore teams and ensure quality assurance processes are followed.
  • Lead and contribute to internal projects and process improvements.
  • Assist centres with self-assessment and preparation for Centre Assessment Standards Scrutiny.

Essential Criteria
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation abilities.
  • Proven experience in a compliance and risk management role.
  • Strong IT proficiency, especially in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to prioritise, adapt, and work independently.
  • Sound judgement balancing regulatory and business needs.
  • Logical problem-solving skills and commercial awareness.
  • Organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Confidence to challenge professionally and work collaboratively.
  • Agile and proactive mindset with a focus on high-quality output.

Desirable Criteria
  • Experience in risk management or quality assurance.
  • Engagement with external customers, regulators, or awarding organisations.
  • Passion for personal development and continuous improvement.
