Full-Time | Rotational Shift Pattern | Monday–Friday
Are you looking to build your career in a successful and growing manufacturing environment? We are an industry-leading designer and manufacturer of specialist plastic building and plumbing systems used throughout the UK construction sector. We are now seeking a Quality Control Inspector to join our busy team.
As a key member of the Quality function, you will monitor product quality, support production teams, and help maintain the company’s Quality Management System.
Working Hours
This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday on a rotational 3‑shift basis. Each shift includes a paid 30-minute break (one 10‑minute and one 20‑minute break).
Shifts rotate weekly as follows:
- 7am – 3pm
- 3pm – 11pm
- 11pm – 7am
Key Responsibilities
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Carrying out and recording production inspections, including start‑ups, in‑process checks, and last‑off inspections in line with ISO9001 procedures.
- Monitoring and checking products assembled and barcoded via automatic assembly machines and manual processes.
- Conducting perpetual stock checks for goods moving from production to stores.
- Collecting and reporting production scrap each shift.
- Assisting with Goods Inwards activities when required.
- Supporting the inspection of export orders prior to despatch.
- Undertaking product testing for production, batch release of purchased goods, and new product development.
- Helping maintain Product Specification Sheets within the company’s business system.
- Entering data into the Quality Management System.
- Supporting the Quality and QUESH Managers in maintaining Health & Safety and Environmental procedures.

- Good literacy and strong written and verbal English skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Previous experience in quality or manufacturing is beneficial but not essential—full training is provided.

- Hourly rate when getting taken on with my client is: £14.33, rising to £14.67 after successful completion of a 6‑month probation (inclusive of rotational shift premium)
