Job Title: Quality Manager
Location: Glasgow

Role Overview:
In this dynamic and varied role, you will be a vital part of the technical team, reporting to the Technical Manager (Dual site). You will be responsible for ensuring quality assurance, which is crucial for delivering safe, innovative, and high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities:
• Strive for continuous improvement and implement quality standards, systems, and processes in line with group policy.
• Ensure products meet and exceed customer requirements and comply with site vision.
• Manage, motivate, and oversee Quality Auditors, providing goal-oriented feedback and strong communication.
• Drive business performance and KPIs in a fast-paced environment.
• Lead your team by example, fostering a positive culture through outstanding team-based relationships.
• Conduct risk-based quality systems audits as required.
• Review customer complaints, audit deficiencies, and monitor root cause corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Health and Safety to oversee relevant issues and produce risk assessments.
Ideal Experience:
• Strong technical background in the food manufacturing industry.
• Relevant qualifications and in-depth knowledge of Food Safety, Microbiology, and Quality Assurance.
• Experience leading and motivating a site QA function, including process control and product launches.
• Proficient in auditing with in-depth knowledge of HACCP, BRC, and internal auditing systems.
• Proven track record of leading and developing successful teams.
• Flexible with a hands-on approach.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work on own initiative and under pressure.
