A Quality Engineer job based with an aerospace/defence manufacturer in Manchester paying up to £50,000

Your new company

This manufacturing organisation has an international presence, while maintaining an SME feel to the production facility. You will be working in an environment that allows you to develop your engineering skills, on unique projects working with world-renowned customers.

Your new role

In your new role as Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for leading quality related activities on site including auditing (process/product/standards), using root cause analysis methods to reduce non-conformances and leading problem-solving projects using methods such as 8D and 5Y.

What you'll need to succeed

In order to be successful in this Quality Engineer role, you will have had previous experience in a similar manufacturing environment, in an improvement-based quality engineering position. Ideally, you will possess an engineering qualification coupled with competency around various lean manufacturing principles in theory and practically.

What you'll get in return
