We have a requirement for a Quality Engineer with our manufacturing client in Lisburn area.

Your new role
As a Quality Engineer, you will support the Manufacturing Quality Manager and work closely with production teams to enhance operational performance and ensure consistent product quality. You will play a key role in developing quality standards, driving continuous improvement and supporting problem‑solving activities across the manufacturing and assembly processes.
Mon - Thurs 7am - 4.15pm and Fri until 1.15What you’ll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A degree in a relevant engineering discipline with at least 1 year’s quality or engineering experience; or an HNC/HND with 2+ years’ relevant experience; or 3+ years’ experience in a Quality Engineering or engineering role.
- Experience using continuous improvement and problem‑solving tools (3C, 8D, A3, PFMEA, APQP, process mapping).
- Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and standards.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- A logical, detail‑focused approach and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to work to strict deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
Desirable:
- 3+ years’ experience as a Quality Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in modular manufacturing or construction.
- Strong understanding of ISO 9001:2015 requirements.
