Your new role

Hays Education is recruiting qualified Secondary Supply Teachers , including Early Career Teachers (ECTs) , across all subject specialisms to support a wide range of schools across Gloucestershire, Wiltshire and Swindon .

We are working with schools to secure long‑term supply placements , with opportunities available immediately , after the Easter holidays , and from September for the new academic year. Whether you are actively seeking a role now, considering a change later in the year, or simply planning ahead, we welcome early conversations.

What you'll need to succeed get in return

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) — ECTs welcome to apply

  • Experience teaching in a UK secondary school setting (including placements for ECTs)

  • The right to work in the UK

  • An Enhanced DBS check , or willingness to obtain one

  • Flexibility, reliability and a positive approach to long‑term supply work
