This is an exciting opportunity for a newly qualified accountant who has either an industry background, or is a first-time mover from practice, to gain exposure to acquisitions and systems implementation.

Your new role
- Monthly Accounts Management: Lead the preparation and review of monthly accounts, ensuring precision and timeliness.
- Financial Reporting: Produce reconciled monthly and year-end accounts in line with agreed timetables, maintaining the highest standards of accuracy.
- Strategic Finance Projects: Drive central finance tasks and projects, including Capex analysis and sustainability initiatives, contributing to our long-term financial strategy.
- Technical Accounting Expertise: Provide robust technical accounting input, specialising in IFRS and FRS102, to support our financial integrity.
- Quarterly IFRS Reporting: Assist with the preparation of quarterly external IFRS reports, forming the foundation of the company's SE's consolidated, audited financial statements.
- Reporting Systems Development: Enhance and develop local and group reporting systems to support management, streamline processes, and standardise reporting.
- Audit Coordination: Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure seamless audit processes and compliance.
- Statutory Accounts Preparation: Oversee the preparation of annual statutory accounts and provide essential support during external audits.
- Acquisition Integration: Play a key role in the integration of acquisitions, ensuring smooth financial transitions and alignment with our corporate standards.
What you'll need to succeed
- ACCA/ CIMA/ ACA qualification
- Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Lookups)
- Strong communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Team player
- Experience of the preparation and interpretation of management and statutory accounts
- Technical knowledge of IFRS / FRS102
