Hays are proud to be working with a well established organisation based in Edinburgh who are looking to add a Part-Qualified Accountant to their busy finance function.

Your new role

In your new role, you will be responsible for:

• Assist with preparation of management accounts
• VAT returns
• Preparation of financial accounts for audit
• Reconciliations - Bank, Balance Sheet etc.
• Support with transactional processes to ensure deadlines are met.
• Annual budgets
• Management reports and stakeholder management
• Forecasting
• Support the Head of Finance with projects and adhoc tasks.

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed, you will be an experienced finance professional who has worked in a similar role and is actively studying towards a full qualification (CIMA/ACCA). You will have a strong attention to detail and be a self-starter when approaching tasks. You will be an enthusiastic team player who is able to communicate at all levels within a business.
