Reporting to an Accounting Manager, you will support the delivery of accurate and timely financial information, contribute to strategic planning, and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
Your new role
- Prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts, financial statements, and cash flow reports
- Support budget development, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Oversee capital expenditure, asset management, and depreciation
- Manage cash flow, liquidity, and investment activities
- Supervise accounts payable and receivable processes
- Monitor and report on grant income and compliance
- Ensure adherence to financial regulations and support audit processes
- Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to provide financial guidance
- Contribute to policy development and continuous improvement initiatives
- Mentor and support junior finance staff
What you'll need to succeed
- Full membership of a recognised professional accountancy body (ACCA, ACA or equivalent)
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in financial management, accounting, or auditing
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
- Proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- A full UK driving licence or access to suitable transport
