Part-Time Purchase Ledger Clerk -6 months

Your new company
A well-established school in Hertfordshire is seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their finance team on a part-time basis for a 6-month assignment.

Your new role
You will be responsible for managing the purchase ledger function, including:
  • Processing supplier invoices and credit notes accurately.
  • Reconciling supplier statements and resolving queries.
  • Preparing payment runs and maintaining compliance with internal controls.
  • Ensuring accurate data entry and record-keeping within Sage 200.
  • Supporting the finance team with ad-hoc duties as required.


What you'll need to succeed
  • Previous experience in purchase ledger/accounts payable.
  • Strong working knowledge of Sage 200.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
