Purchase Ledger Clerk required in Manchester
Your new company
This leading manufacturer is looking for a purchase ledger clerk to join their team on a permanent basis on the outskirts of Manchester City Centre. You will be joining a supportive team working on a hybrid basis (1 day from home) with free parking on site.
Your new role
On a day-to-day basis, you are responsible for:
- Process purchase invoices, ensuring all are properly authorised and matched to orders and charged to correct nominal
- Review invoice register and chase up unapproved invoices internally
- Processing foreign currency payments of all invoices ensuring all relevant import documentation is in order
- Checking and reconciliation of supplier statements
- Preparing BACs payment runs
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in a similar Purchase Ledger position
- Excellent PC skills, including Excel
- Problem-solving and accurate data entry
