2-month contract – Purchase Ledger Assistant

A well-established and forward-thinking organisation in the energy sector is seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger Assistant to join their team on a 2-month contract. This role is a 40-hour working week, with standard working hours being 8am-5pm.
Your new role
As Purchase Ledger Assistant, you'll play a crucial role in the smooth running of financial operations. This hands-on position involves purchase ledger management and reconciliations. Your day to day responsibilites include but are not limited to;
- Invoice Processing
- Payment Management
- Bank reconciliations
- Process Expenses
What you'll need to succeed
- Relevant qualification or proven experience in a similar role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- A proactive and detail-focused approach
- Proficiency in Sage and/or Sage 200, and the Microsoft Office suite—especially Excel
- Strong understanding of financial systems and supplier management software
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
