Urgent temp need for a purchase ledger clerk to work in Mildenhall

Your new company

Hays Accountancy & Finance is supporting a business in Mildenhall who are looking for a temporary Purchase ledger clerk / bookkeeper for at least 4 weeks.

Your new role

In this temporary purchase ledger job, you will join the finance team and take responsibility for all aspects of the purchase ledger from raising POs, adding purchase invoices to their bespoke system, preparing for payment through to reconciling supplier statements and dealing with supplier queries.

This is a fast-paced business which processes circa 1,000 purchase invoices per month. Therefore, ideally, you will have experience of high-volume purchase ledger invoices processing with multiple cost centres.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be immediately available and able to work in Mildenhall 5 days a week as this role will be office-based for at least 4 weeks. You will have experience of end-to-end processing purchase ledger invoices, reconciling statements and be confident in dealing with supplier queries.

What you'll get in return

As this is a temporary purchase ledger / bookkeeping job, you will be paid an hourly rate of £14.00 - £16.000 depending on your experience.
