Purchase Ledger, Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant, Accounts Payable

We are seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger Specialist to join a highly reputable specialist building supplier. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong attention to detail and a proven track record of managing purchase ledger processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Posting of invoices for stock and non-stock items
  • Reconciling supplier invoices and resolving invoice queries
  • Managing weekly and end-of-month payment runs
  • Performing creditor statement reconciliations
  • Verifying and processing pro forma payments
  • Conducting cashbook analysis and posting payments
  • Handling supplier queries promptly and professionally
  • Completing credit application forms

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar purchase ledger role
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office
