Purchase Ledger, Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant, Accounts Payable
We are seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger Specialist to join a highly reputable specialist building supplier. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong attention to detail and a proven track record of managing purchase ledger processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Posting of invoices for stock and non-stock items
- Reconciling supplier invoices and resolving invoice queries
- Managing weekly and end-of-month payment runs
- Performing creditor statement reconciliations
- Verifying and processing pro forma payments
- Conducting cashbook analysis and posting payments
- Handling supplier queries promptly and professionally
- Completing credit application forms
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar purchase ledger role
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office
