An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a well-established business based in the Cheadle area.Your New Role
Working as part of a small, close-knit finance team, this role will play a key part in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of a high volume of purchase invoices.
This is a fast-paced position suited to someone who thrives in a busy environment and has strong attention to detail.
As Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will be responsible for:
- Processing a high volume of purchase invoices accurately and efficiently
- Matching, batching and coding invoices
- Resolving invoice queries with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Managing payment runs
- Assisting with month-end processes
- Maintaining accurate records within the finance system
What You'll Need to Succeed
- Previous experience in a high-volume purchase ledger role
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a small team environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience using COINS software would be highly advantageous.
- Confident working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting
