We are working with a leading manufacturing firm with a reputation for excellence and innovation. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their finance team. This role is critical to their operations and offers a dynamic work environment where confidentiality and discretion are paramount.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately process purchase invoices and maintain the purchase ledger.
- Reconcile supplier statements to ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare payment runs and manage cash flow related to supplier payments.
- Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to resolve queries.
- Assist with month-end and year-end reporting.
- Maintain confidential financial records and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Purchase Ledger Clerk, preferably within a manufacturing setting.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Proficient in using ERP systems
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
