Language speaking Purchase Ledger Clerk within a shared service centre in Manchester
Your new company
This shared service centre is looking for a purchase ledger clerk to join their team on a permanent basis who is fluent in an European Language
Your new role
On a day-to-day basis, you are responsible for:
• Support the supervisor & manager in delivering SSC Transactions processes efficiently
• File and process supplier's invoices and credit notes accurately and on time to ensure payment within due date
• Identify possible overcharges and escalate to line manager for investigation
• Identify fraudulent invoices to prevent any potential financial loss to business
• Ensure knowledge of VAT treatments is up-to-date across all countries' so correct coding is applied to the suppliers' invoices as per local legislations
What you'll need to succeed
- You will be a fluent speaker in a European Language ideally - Dutch, French or Spanish
- Ideally, have SAP or Oracle knowledge.
- If you have experience in a finance position or a purchase ledger role, this will be highly advantageous to your application.
