A respected Housing Association is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable professional to join their finance team on an interim basis. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the Purchase Ledger function while supporting wider finance operations. This position is full‑time, working 9am–5pm, Monday to Friday. Hybrid working is available once training has been completed, and you are fully up to speed with the role.

In this position, you will manage a broad range of Accounts Payable tasks, including processing invoices, maintaining supplier accounts, and ensuring all payments are accurate and timely. You will act as a key contact for supplier queries, working closely with internal colleagues and external partners to resolve issues and ensure smooth communication.

You will complete regular statement reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and ensure all accounts remain accurate. The role will also involve supporting bank reconciliations and coordinating payment runs. There will be opportunities to assist with Accounts Receivable duties and contribute to additional finance tasks as needed.

You will bring proven experience within Accounts Payable, ideally gained in a busy finance environment. Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build positive working relationships are essential.
