Are you an experienced Property Surveyor looking for your next leadership challenge? Do you have the technical expertise, commercial acumen and people management skills to drive excellence across a large and diverse housing portfolio?

The Role
As Senior Property Surveyor, you'll take ownership of regional property services, ensuring repairs, voids, adaptations and compliance programmes are delivered efficiently, safely and cost-effectively. You'll be a trusted technical expert, a strong leader and a key stakeholder who can balance customer outcomes with commercial performance.

Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor and develop a team of surveyors, fostering a culture of accountability, excellence and continuous improvement. Oversee the delivery of responsive repairs, voids, planned maintenance, adaptations and compliance activities. Manage and monitor multi-million-pound contractor partnerships, driving performance, quality and value for money. Act as the senior point of escalation for complex technical issues, major incidents and housing emergencies. Analyse operational performance data and customer feedback to identify trends, improve service delivery and reduce recurring issues. Support asset management and investment planning, helping shape future property strategies. Build strong relationships with residents, contractors and internal stakeholders to deliver exceptional outcomes.

About You
You'll already have a successful track record in social housing, property maintenance or asset management and be confident leading teams in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. You'll combine strong technical knowledge with outstanding leadership and stakeholder management skills, enabling you to drive performance while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction and compliance.

You'll bring significant experience managing property maintenance, repairs, voids and compliance programmes. Strong technical expertise in building surveying, construction, building pathology and property maintenance. Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate, coach and develop high-performing teams. Experience managing contractor relationships and overseeing substantial service budgets. Excellent knowledge of Building Safety Regulations, HHSRS, fire safety legislation, Awaab's Law and wider health and safety compliance requirements. Strong communication and problem-solving skills with a proactive, solutions-focused approach.

Essential Requirements
Degree in Building Surveying or equivalent relevant experience.
MRICS or MCIOB qualification (or working towards professional membership) desirable.
Full UK Driving Licence.
