Property Surveyor – Acquisition & Project Delivery

Are you an experienced Building Surveyor with strong project delivery expertise? This is an excellent opportunity to play a pivotal role in a high‑profile programme focused on improving outcomes for children and young people. You’ll help drive a significant investment initiative, overseeing the full lifecycle of property acquisition, due diligence, and refurbishment to create high‑quality environments that support better wellbeing and educational outcomes.

Your new role

As a Property Surveyor, you will lead the end‑to‑end process of identifying, assessing, acquiring and delivering properties that meet required standards. Working with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, you will be responsible for ensuring each acquisition is thoroughly assessed, legally compliant, and ready for onward delivery.

  • Due Diligence & Acquisition
  • Post‑Acquisition & Project Delivery
  • Procurement

What you'll need to succeed

  • Chartered Building Surveyor status (MRICS) or equivalent experience.
  • Strong technical background in building surveying, project management, and contract administration.
  • Experience managing acquisition, due diligence, and refurbishment processes.
  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders, producing high‑quality reports and clear recommendations.
  • Strong understanding of RICS standards, JCT contracts, and construction delivery.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
