Change Control Manager/QS required for a Major Construction Project based in Belfast

This well-established company is seeking a Change Control Manager/QS for a major multi-million pound project in Belfast. Renowned for delivering high-quality, innovative solutions, they operate across a wide range of sectors including commercial, education, healthcare, heritage, hospitality, life sciences, and residential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the change control process for the project, including documentation, approval, and implementation of changes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with change management procedures.
  • Review and assess change requests to identify potential impacts on project scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to communicate changes and ensure smooth implementation.
  • Maintain accurate records of all change requests and their status.
  • Provide training and guidance to team members on change control processes.
  • Develop and implement strategies to minimise resistance and maximise adoption of changes.
  • Conduct impact analyses and risk assessments related to change requests.
  • Support the project team in resolving any issues arising from changes.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven expertise as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor, particularly in main contracting or MEP
  • Sound knowledge of NEC contracts.
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools.
