Our work touches every stage of healthcare — from drug development to everyday clinical use.We are now looking for a Fees Project Support Officer to join our Planning & Performance Team in the Finance Division. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to grow their project support skills, work on high‑profile, organisation‑wide initiatives, and contribute to work that directly impacts public health outcomes.
Your new role
As a Project Support Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the planning, delivery and tracking of the organisation's annual fees uplift programme — a complex, high‑impact project that generates around £175 million of income each year and underpins the Agency’s ability to deliver its mission.
This role is ideal for a motivated and organised individual who enjoys working proactively, building strong relationships, and supporting projects that involve policy development, public consultation and ministerial approval.
You’ll work closely with colleagues across finance, legal, communications, operations and senior leaders — gaining exposure and development opportunities across the Agency
- Provide high‑quality project support to ensure fees uplift projects are delivered on time and to required standards.
- Develop, maintain and track project plans, milestones, risks and actions.
- Deliver excellent secretariat support including agenda preparation, minute‑taking and action tracking.
- Build positive working relationships with internal stakeholders to support collaboration and smooth delivery.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, guidance materials and internal communications.
- Contribute to lessons‑learned activities and continuous improvement of team processes.
- Work independently, using initiative to prioritise work and escalate issues when needed.
- Take ownership of your ongoing professional development within a supportive team environment.
What you'll need to succeed
Essential Experience
Strong project or administrative support experience, ideally in a structured environment.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing deadlines.
Clear, confident communication skills — written and verbal — with the ability to convey information concisely.
Desirable
Experience or understanding of project management approaches
Familiarity with supporting multi‑stakeholder projects
Experience of secretariat support (agendas, minutes, action logs)
