About the Role
Join a dynamic Markets Program Management Team driving regulatory change across EU and UK Trade Transparency initiatives. This hybrid Business Analyst / Project Manager role is central to delivering MiFIR / MiFID II compliance, combining strategic oversight with hands-on execution.
You’ll work across business and technology teams, translating complex regulatory requirements into actionable solutions, while managing project delivery and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Regulatory Analysis: Interpret evolving Trade Transparency and Clock Synchronisation regulations, including EU/UK nuances. Partner with Legal and Compliance to assess impact.
- Requirements Gathering & Documentation: Lead workshops with stakeholders (Front Office, Ops, Tech, Risk) to capture business and functional requirements. Produce detailed BRDs and identify gaps in current systems.
- Solution Design & Delivery: Collaborate on solution proposals, evaluate vendor options, and support UAT with robust test strategies and scenarios.
- Project Management & Governance: Align with Citi’s PMO standards, manage RAID logs, prepare working group materials, and ensure accurate project tracking.
What We’re Looking For
Essential Skills:
- Deep knowledge of Trade Transparency and Clock Synchronisation regulations
- Proven experience in regulatory project delivery
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Markets product/process knowledge
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
- Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications:
- 10+ years in financial services or capital markets
- Experience in Risk or Capital Markets projects
- Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred)
- PMP or equivalent certification
