Project Administrator/Coordinator | Hybrid working | 3 days from home | £15.97 per hour | long term contract

Join one of the UK’s leading maintenance organisations as a Project Coordinator supporting one of our largest and most high-profile contracts. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in delivering essential services in a complex and fast-paced environment.

Your new role

As a Project Coordinator, you will support the successful delivery of projects by ensuring effective coordination, communication, and administration across all phases of the project lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include:

Project Support & Administration

  • Assist the Project Manager in developing project documentation such as schedules, budgets, scope statements, and risk registers.
  • Maintain and update project plans, trackers, and reports, ensuring accurate and timely information is available.
  • Manage project documentation, including contracts, purchase orders, and compliance records.
Communication & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as a liaison between internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure smooth communication and alignment.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action items.
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress, risks, and issues.
Resource & Task Coordination

  • Support the allocation and scheduling of resources to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Track task completion and assist in resolving any blockers or delays.
Compliance & Quality Assurance

  • Ensure all project activities comply with company policies, health & safety standards, and client requirements.
  • Support audits and quality checks as required.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be an experienced administrator/project coordinator who has the ability to prioritise workloads in an efficient manner. You will have the necessary skills -

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Skilled in maintaining accurate documentation, schedules, and compliance records.

What you'll get in return

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a market-leading organisation on a temporary basis initially and may be made permanent dependent on business needs and performance. You will be paid £15.97 per hour inclusive of holiday pay. The role is hybrid, and you will work a maximum of 2 days in the office per week. The office is based in Leyland/Chorley and you will work with a very experienced team.
