We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Project Manager/Business Analyst to lead regulatory initiatives within a complex financial environment. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a strong background in project delivery across Tier 1 banks or top consulting firms, particularly within Markets and Regulatory domains. The successful candidate will be a proactive self-starter, capable of driving transformation and engaging effectively with diverse stakeholders across Front Office, Risk, Legal, Compliance, and Control functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage regulatory change projects across Markets, ensuring timely and effective delivery.
- Engage with Front Office (Trading and Sales), Risk Management, Legal, Compliance, and infrastructure teams to drive initiatives.
- Oversee booking model changes and operating model transformations.
- Navigate and coordinate across large, complex teams and stakeholder groups.
- Analyse large data sets using MS Excel to identify trends, report findings, and implement change.
- Contribute to programmes involving legal entity changes (e.g., Brexit, Clearing).
- Support transformation initiatives related to CCP Clearing and clearing house models.
- Apply strong knowledge of Markets products including equities, securities, repos, tri-party, and bonds.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and internal control frameworks.
Essential Criteria
- Minimum 8 years of project management experience within Tier 1 banks or top consulting firms.
- Proven track record in delivering regulatory projects in complex institutional environments.
- Strong working knowledge of Markets products and regulatory frameworks.
- Experience working with Front Office stakeholders and control functions.
- Familiarity with CCP Clearing processes and clearing house models.
- Experience in booking model change and transformation programmes.
- Proficient in MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.
