Your new role

• Project Planning and Execution: Develop and implement project plans, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Financial Oversight: Oversee financial aspects of projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Team Management: Lead and manage a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and support.
• Stakeholder Communication: Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, other departments, and external bodies.
• Procurement: Managing procurement activities related to projects, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring project success and alignment with organisational goals.

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience overseeing projects from start to finish, taking the lead role in driving a project.
• Proven experience in project management within a finance function.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of procurement processes and financial regulations
