The organisation has also gained external recognition for its people first culture, having recently been honoured with a prestigious international award celebrating excellence in employee development, wellbeing, safety and internal progression.

Your new role

As Production Supervisor, you will take full responsibility for managing all operational areas across your shift, ensuring products are manufactured safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards. You will lead and motivate a sizeable production team, acting as the key decision maker on the factory floor and ensuring production targets, quality requirements and cost standards are consistently achieved. This role will see you closely monitoring performance, managing absence and disciplinary matters, conducting shift briefings and driving a culture of continuous improvement. You will work collaboratively with planning, engineering, quality and other onsite functions to resolve issues quickly and maintain smooth production flow, while also playing an active role in developing and upskilling your team.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will have previous supervisory experience within a manufacturing environment and demonstrate strong people management and leadership capability. You will be safety focused, calm under pressure and confident making decisions in a demanding operational setting. A solid understanding of production KPIs, quality standards and continuous improvement practices is essential, alongside the ability to analyse data, identify root causes and implement practical solutions. Strong communication skills and a hands on leadership style will allow you to engage effectively with both your team and wider stakeholders. Competence in Microsoft Office and a good standard of education are required, with relevant vocational or supervisory qualifications being advantageous.

The position operates on a continental shift pattern, working two weeks of days followed by two weeks of nights, offering structured rotas and extended rest periods. You will also benefit from an above average holiday entitlement, supporting a healthy work life balance despite the shift-based nature of the role. This is an organisation that genuinely invests in its people, providing long term stability, ongoing training and clear opportunities for progression within a growing manufacturing environment, while rewarding strong performance and commitment to operational excellence.
