Your new company
A leading global manufacturing company based in Northwich is seeking an experienced Production Planner to join their Supply Chain team. The company has won multiple awards and has a reputation as an excellent place to work by its employees.
Your new role
Working on an alternating shift pattern (6am-2pm one week, followed by 10am-6pm the following week), the Production Planner will play a crucial role in the company's supply chain operation and, working alongside another Production Planner, will have the following responsibilities:
- Develop and manage mid-to-long-term plans for demand, supply, and raw materials.
- Support short-term scheduling for multiple complex product lines or high-volume facilities.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth operations.
- Present your findings in weekly team meetings.
- Lead or contribute to continuous improvement initiatives using project management tools.
- Design and implement new processes to enhance efficiency and performance.
- Maintain strong relationships with manufacturing sites, warehouses, and suppliers.
What you'll need to succeed
- A background in production planning within a multi-line manufacturing environment (at least 3 production lines) 
- Strong experience using SAP 
- Comfortable using MS Excel features including Pivot Tables, LOOKUPS, and similar formulae. 
- Strong communication presentation skills 
- A very strong awareness of health & safety within a manufacturing environment 
- Ideally, you will have degree in areas such as business, engineering, chemistry or manufacturing operations

- A starting salary between £31-35K + £2,860 shift allowance
